What is Fascia?
Fascia is connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body.
FST is a technique creating constant motion. The use of traction, circumduction, and oscillation are utilized while combined with varied tempos to help loosen fascia restriction.
Circumduction creates mobility within the joint creating freedom through the kinetic chain, allowing taut muscles to relax and come back to homeostasis.
Communication between client and therapist to achieve ultimate results. FST requires Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF), which involves client participation.
FST sessions are fully clothes . No lotion or oils are applied . We are working fascia between skin , muscle, bone, organ. Not muscle tissue.

Trigger point are bound tension caused by movement patterns, stress held in the fascia,. Focused pressure is applied to these tender areas to assist in softening and eventually release. Freeing these areas creates mobility and fluidity.
Deep tissue is exactly as it sounds. Working with the deeper layers of tissue, to assist in releasing toxins and bound fascia within the muscle belly. Hydration after all sessions is important, deep tissue work requires ample amounts of water to push toxins through the system.
Sports massage focuses on the athletes needs . Focusing on conditioning cycle, any areas of injury, and overall relaxation of nervous system. Stretching Technique's are often incorporated in this session, which makes it applicable for weekend worrier's, pre and post surgery, and adolescents .
